Our People

Sara Lamb, RCT, CCC, Certified EFT Therapist

As a partner, mother of three adult children and self-employed person, I know something about the joys and struggles of keeping our busy, complex lives in balance. My work as a therapist is informed by a deep understanding and compassionate curiosity about the challenges we all face at some point to stay connected and present in romantic relationships, parenting, work, or families.

Couple and family therapy has long been the heart of my work; it's also a delight to mentor and supervise newer therapists in my practice. I am an ICEEFT-certified EFT therapist and supervisor, and hold a Masters degree in Counselling from Acadia University. I'm licensed as a Registered Counselling Therapist with NSCCT, and a certified counsellor with the CCPA.

I want to create a space where we can talk safely and honestly—about all that you're holding, but also about how you want to hold it. If you’re seeing me in individual sessions, then we’re exploring what matters most to you and how to work with the obstacles that keep you from it. And if you’re coming as a couple, then we’re working together to help you have the conversations you want to have, but don’t know how.

My work with clients reflects my training in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), but I also draw from all the various experiences of my life—from working with the joys and struggles of being a dad and partner, to the loss of loved ones, to living and training in Zen monasteries in Japan.

I am licensed (RCT-C) by the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists and hold a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology (MA) from Yorkville University.

Tracy Picha, Counselling Intern

Together, we will cultivate a safe, compassionate space, where your process of self-discovery can take the lead. I know what it’s like to navigate losses, transitions, and life’s pressing challenges, and my graduate studies in counselling psychology (in the MACP program at Yorkville University) add to my life experiences. Therapy can be an opportunity to release ourselves from unhelpful patterns and find a way to greater authenticity, meaning, and connection. Improving our relationship with ourselves and with others is at the crux of the personal healing and growth that many of us crave, and I’m honoured to accompany each client on their individual journey.

Tracy will be accepting clients as of September 2025.
